Ohhh I love this family! You would think that a family of 6 would be utter chaos! That could not be further from the truth with this awesome family! Those kids were so good and not to mention so naturally photogenic. I could have kept shooting for another hour and I’m confident they would still be smiling and cooperating. I need some tips Troy and Andrea.. whats your secret?… seriously.

You know how they say that the calmer the parents the calmer the baby? Well that was definitely the case with these parents. They came in with there little Emma and just sat there and adored her the entire time. They were so calm and gentle with her. They were head over heals completely smitten by there precious little lady.. and honestly do you blame them? I had such a nice visit with Miriam and Barry and was so glad I got to meet them. Miriams little sister, Anna was my amazing babysitter all summer and I LOVE her so I knew if Miriam was anything like her sister we would get along great! It was a complete treat! And Emma!! What a pretty little baby!
I know what your all thinking.. NOT FAIR! It really isn’t! Like she was almost full term pregnant here and looks like a million bucks! We had lots of fun. Amber came with all kinds of cute ideas, which I love! And Brad.. well he was awesome too!
LOVE this family! My husband and Trevor have worked together for.. well a long time. I was thrilled to be able to take there first professional pictures.. Ok it’s weird to call myself a “professional”.. I don’t know what else to call it though. Anyway Jaden was SO cute and loved taking pics. Trevor and April tried a different approach with there family pics and I would totally suggest every family doing this.. Instead of saying, “If your really good for pictures then we will… go for icecream, go buy a toy, ect.” They made it out to be SUCH a fun event and he only got to go take pics if he was really good. So my friends, Trevor and April are complete geniuses. Honestly, Jaden had a ball! Just smiled and loved every minute of it! And can we please talk about April! How seriously smokin is she? I have such pretty friends!!
Little baby Shanelle. Oh wow what a little sweetheart. She was so tiny and bendy… and beautiful. This was my first session after my workshop in Utah with the amazingly talented newborn photographer, Skye Johansen and I had so much fun trying some new techniques in my shooting and post processing. I LOVE newborns! Give me newborns!!!
