Anyone who knows this family knows that this session was FUN. It happened to be the windiest day of the year plus it was so cold so we had to resort to the backyard of Kristis house where there was a little shelter. You wouldn’t even know that they are totally freezing! Good job guys! I would probably have a single tear trickling down my cheek if I had to be bare armed in that. Yeah, Im a wimp when it comes to the cold. Anyway thanks Leavitts! It was a blast!

Yeah these guys rock my world- Kristi happens to be one of the most gorgeous moms I know and actually looks that good all the time… Seriously. As her best friend I would see her at her worst, and she does not have a worst. It is sooooo irritating but I still happen to love her… And the rest of them too. Those kids are my kids too.. I love them THAT much! And Ava finally loves me back which is kinda awesome. Who knew I just had to read her books and we could be soul mates. Anyway this was such a rushed shoot. We got started a little late and we were running out of light but this family is seasoned pros and we made it happen… oh yeah and it helps that the 5d Mark III happens to be INCREDIBLE in low light.
This family is just plain awesome. I have decided I need to hire Kaylee to coach me on being a good mom. Honestly those boys are so well behaved and sweet. They did not whine or complain the entire session- I was in shock. Mike and Kaylee are such good parents and their little family is just perfect! I mean look at them, PERFECT! I am so glad that I got to know them a little better. We live just around the corner from them and we think they are just the greatest! So glad we got this session in before all the leaves fell off the trees. It happened way too early this year!
This was the most hilarious thing. He got to put his cowboy hat on at the end and he got right into character. He had me laughing to tears with his little cowboy accent. It made my night.
We ended the night with a cake smash with yet, another adorable cake from Edible Elegance. He loved it and so did the rest of the family… seriously that cake is GOOD! Happy birthday little man!
First of all, can you even stand how amazing Angelina looks? Seriously GORGEOUS! Yeah, she did just have a baby 2 weeks before this session no big deal. Ok 2 weeks after I have a baby I am living in sweats and still haven’t washed my hair since the day I had the baby… Ok not quite but seriously, it’s scary. Anyway I loved spending a nice summer evening with this awesome little family. They were head over heels in love their little man, Hudson and I can understand why. He is just darling. I loved the lighting night and even more loved the company. Thanks guys!
A perfect day and an awesome family… What more could I ask for? It felt like I should pay THEM at the end of the session- It was too dang easy and so much fun! I just loved it. Thank you all so much! You are fabulous.
